hockey

hockey was first time played 4000 years before in Egypt. A modern hockey was started from England in  early 19th century. Hockey is the national game of India and Pakistan. The hockey rink is an ice rink which is rectangular with rounded corners and surrounded by a wall, usually called the "boards". It measures 200 feet (60.96 m) long by 85 feet (25.91 m) wide in the NHL, whereas international standards call for a rink measuring 60 to 61 metres (196.9 to 200.1 ft) long by 29 to 30 metres (95.1 to 98.4 ft) wide. The center line divides the ice in half lengthwise. The center line is used to judge icing violations. There are two blue lines that divide the rink roughly into thirds. They divide the ice into zones. Near each end of the rink, there is a thin red goal line spanning the width of the ice. It is used to judge goals and icing calls. The "Blue" and "Red" Lines are 1 foot in width. All other markings on the ice (goal lines, circles, etc.) are 2 inches in width.  

volley ball

volley ball is an outdoor game played in the soil court between the two teams separated by a net.Each team has six players having a fixed position. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. The complete rules  are extensive. But simply, play proceeds as follows: A player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball  from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. They may touch the ball as many as three times. Typically, the first two touches are to set up for an attack, an attempt to direct the ball back over the net in such a way that the serving team is unable to prevent it from being grounded in their court.
The ball is usually played with the hands or arms, but players can legally strike or push  the ball with any part of the body.
A number of consistent techniques have evolved in volleyball, including spiking and blocking  as well as passing, setting, and specialized player positions and offensive and defensive structures.

chess

Chess is an indoor game which was played  before 1500 in china. It is played in a chess board in which.Chess is a board game played between two players: White and Black. The two players alternate turns , moving one piece at a time with the ultimate goal of capturing the enemy king.  The first step in preparing to play a game of chess is making sure the board is set correctly. Look at the square in the lower right-hand corner for each player. This should be a light-colored square. The paws are placed according to their place. There are eight paws in each color. These pawns should go in each square in the row in front of the other pieces of the same color. If your board has coordinates, the white pawns should be on the second rank, and the black pawns should be on the seventh rank. The pawns are named specially like as The Rook, The bigshop, The Queen, The King etc. The game is won when a player's king is under attack and threatened with capture, we say that the king is in check and the opposite side player could not protect the king by giving him the defense or by moving it.

football

Football is also known as the king of the game. It is played between the two teams. Each team consist of 11 players. It is  a one main referee who is generally in charge of the game and watches action on the quarterback and in the offensive backfield and two lines man who watches the line in the either side whether the ball has crossed the line or not. The positions of the player are fixed and the special name is given to them example forward, backup striker etc. The toss is Held between the two captains of each team before the game starts. the game is played of two half each half of 45 minute. each team has its own goal post who ever kicks the more goal in the opposite team  sides  goal post win  the game. the main event of the football is the fifa world cup which is held in every four years. Football is the national game of Brazil.

cricket

Cricket begins at early 17th century The first evidence of cricket being played was recorded in the year 1550, by the pupils of Royal Grammar School, Guildford. In the year 1611 it is reported that two young men from Sussex were punished for playing cricket instead of going to the church. The first match is recorded to have been played at Coxheath in Kent in the year 1646.. It is the national game of England and Australia.In cricket there are 11 players. The cricket is an outdoor game. Both teams should come to the ground at once. It has an over limit, there are 50 overs in a game in a inning. the toss is held at the beginning of the game and who ever won the toss decides to bat or ball. cricket is of three types i.e. fifty over game, test game,and T-twenty. the main event of the cricket is a world cup which is held in every five years.
